On April 2nd 2023 Bill “Willie” Wilmar Kahler Jr. a life long resident of the Antelope Valley was called
home to be with the Lord and reunited with his beloved wife of 55 years Patricia I Kahler.
He is survived by his three children and their spouses, son Wilmar T Kahler III and Armenta, His Daughter
Kimberley Bright and husband Jack, and his son Christopher Kahler and wife LynnAnn.
He has six grandchildren, Zackary, Jake, Carissa, Katelin, Matthew and Blake and 9 great grandchildren-
Damzel, Carson, Ozzy, Harley, Jaxton, Miles, Bowie, Roe, Kahla, Sage, and Shep.
Bill was born on October 12, 1939 in Lancaster California. His grandparents settled in the Antelope
Valley in the late 1800’s. Bill grew up in Elizabeth Lake where his grandparent’s established the Elizabeth
Lake Ranch Club.
He had a 38 year career at National Cement where he retired at age 62. He loved riding his chopper. He
was a self taught artist and musician. He had an open mind and loved to learn new things. He was a
complete perfectionist with everything that he did. He was witty, kind and had an open home for
anyone in need.
His love for his wife, family and friends was unprecedented.
His legacy will live on through his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will be remembered forever.
